✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅
This week, the Pleck Neighbourhood Team, have again been involved in a number of community based events and engagements. This includes meeting with local councillors and community volunteers, to talk about local issues and our future partnerships. Also over the past week our dedicated PCSOs have made reassurance visits to the many places of worship in the area, the Pleck Methodist Church, the Minhaj-ul-Quran and other Mosques and Temples. In addition officers were invited to a unique event at Walsall FC's Bescot Stadium. The event was to celebrate the Sri Lankan New Year. Over 600 people attended the event, coming from across the UK, including Aberdeen and London. Officers were able to offer crime prevention advice, give out crime prevention items and learn about Sri Lankan culture.
Summary: We wanted to update you that vehicle crime, one of our local priorities and associated criminal activity in the area has been disrupted, stop and searches have been carried out, with drugs and weapons seized. If anyone has any information or sees anything suspicious, please report it to the Police or call CrimeStoppers There have been reports of anti-social behaviour in Regal Drive, Pleck. Local Officers will be working with the local businesses and the community to address these issues. This will help neighbours and businesses, who have been victims of some of the ASB.

🚨 Crime & Safety Updates — What You Need to Know 🚨 🔎 Recent Incidents/Trends: Type of Crime: (Anti-social behaviour, drug activity, etc.) Location: Regal Drive, Pleck. Summary: Anti-Social Behaviour, as a result of drug use and drug dealing. Causing concern and nuisance for residents and businesses in the area. Police Response: Patrols, while working with local businesses and residents to deter and disrupt the ASB.
